What we store, and why.

This page is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you subscribe to the newsletter, join a waitlist or buy a course, stored in our own database, hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
• Purchase records, if you buy a course: your email, what you bought and when. Card details never touch our systems; payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor.
• Email activity, such as whether a newsletter was delivered or opened, so we can stop sending to dead addresses and see what's worth writing more of.

What we don't do

• No selling or renting your data to anyone, ever.
• No advertising trackers on this site.
• No profiling beyond the email activity described above.

Who processes it

Cloudflare (hosting and database), our email delivery provider (sending the newsletter), and Stripe (payments). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us.

Your rights

Unsubscribe links appear in every email. To have your data corrected or deleted entirely, email hello@theplumb.net and it's done. We aim for within 7 days, and UK GDPR gives you the right to insist.
